excellent comment Jack!
one question, does anybody compare 130i Mpaket with 135i coupe - is coupe more comfortable for driving in the city? I tried 130iM 5doors and it was brutal hard suspension.....thanks |

Jack, I hate to bombard you with more questions, but really, really appreciate your point of view and willingness to share info. The delay in US production has me rethinking the 135-335 choice.
I know that you have crowned the 135i the best car you have owned . . . but can you hone in on the "fun to drive" distinction between the two? You said the 1 doesn't feel quite as fast as your 3 when you turned it in, but did the 3 have comparable steering response and feel, and handling (I used to describe my '95 M3 as feeling like it was on rails when cornering) to the 1? Except maybe for the sense of the 1 being a bit more "tossable"? I won't be taking the car to the track, I simply want excellent acceleration and handling in my daily driver. I suspect that MSRP for the 1 versus discounting on the 3 will put me just a few thousand apart, so I know this issue has been thrashed before, but any and all thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks. |

dont do it sc!
you will love the 335i but when the 1 comes out i guarantee you will want to sell your 3 and get a 1...and that may hurt the wallet more than waiting

My SA told me that the car comes with an oil cooler no matter what. The Sport Pkg adds a second oil cooler.

nice review. I think too many people try to be overly technical when they talk about a car when really all people want to hear are the likes and dislikes in a simple manner. Glad to see you're enjoying yourself.

I dont mean to knock anyone but I fail to see how any sat nav is worth 2k; especially given the much cheaper and better alternatives.
