I got a question about my own COBB tune.

I'm currently running a Stage2 Sport map and was wondering about the correct max boost.

The above posted document mentions 11PSI peak for this map. Mine currently makes 14-15 PSI.

What's wrong here?

Possibly a boost spike during a shift. Grab a datalog and it'll let you know what's going on.

That's what I did. => http://datazap.me/u/speedhunter/stg2...-9-10-11-14-15

The AP clearly states that it's running on a Stage 2 Sport map (STG2 Sport I8A0S v401). But to me this seems more like an aggressive map...?

Cobb retains the factory load targeting control scheme. The DME takes numerous inputs and the uses that information to set boost targets in order to reach desired load. The important thing is for actual boost to be tracing requested boost.

Honestly, your log looks very good. I do have one suggestion though, an upgraded FMIC is in order. Even at modest boost the stock IC is overwhelmed.

Agreed, that looks pretty good apart from IAT climbing up. Mine usually goes down when I start a run and might slowly creep back up.

I been running cobb stage 1 aggressive since I got my car last year. Got walnut blasting done and had dyno taken before and after blasting. I'm stock other than tune. Car is 09 135i auto. I'm happy with the numbers. Can't wait to switch to stage 1+ map

i saw on Brentuning dyno data base a N54 135i making 400whp and 449tq with stock downpipes with a drop in air filter, charge pipe, and aFMIC on 93pump. How is this? i thought these cars FBO and protune can barely crack 400whp? im only asking because im trying to figure out what i can expect.

So AP V3 doesn't have the dynometer built in? My friend's AP V2 for his WRX does, seems the BMW version logs all the same info. Anyone know why this feature was not included?

So I went from just a berk street and a Cobb Stage 1 tune.

To a BMR DCI, VRSF Down pipes, and Cobb stage 2

Why is it not any faster?

Does it take time for the tune to adjust?

Thanks

Is there a ppk style map? I had ppk and installed the ap but found the stage 0 map has the boost come on a bit abruptly not smooth like stock.

So it seems a few others have experienced this as well, but my cruise control no longer works (regardless of traction control settings). AP was completely updated prior to installing it on the car. Any known fix besides having the dealer recode the car to stock?

COBB says that the 135i spins the tires too much to obtain a reliable dyno. I haven't been able to spin my tires in fourth gear, but if the AP will allow that then cool. Somehow I doubt it.

UPDATe: they now say it is in consideration.

about 2 weeks ago I had a misfire cyl. 5 car was shaking cel on so it ended up being the coil pack I swapped it with a new one and car was running great like a champ. Now TODAY I started up my car and got a small rough idle for a bit, then I got cel so I checked the codes with my cobb Ap v3 and it said misfire cyl.3 but the car was not shaking so I just deleted the code and drove off and the car was running fine pushed the car bit and the car did not throw a cel again or a misfire. ....what can this be? Can it be the tune?
