What Are the Small Squares on Front & Back?
People who already have their 1's will know better than most perhaps, but does anyone know what those little painted squares are on the right side of both the front and rear bumpers? Some of the pics and some of the ones I've seen at dealers don't have the painted squares on and are just open black spaces, which I'm sure they will put them back in, but what on earth are those?! People who have their cars will see a little painted cut out square and I was just curious what on earth it was. I'll see if I can pop in a picture:

They use those to secure your car to the ship so it doesn't roll around in any of the storms across the Atlantic. Like the Courage.

Tow trucks also use them to attach tow hooks and pull cars out of the ditch
