Best Exhaust

Hey guys

Just wanted to know which is the best bang for the buck, sound wise or the little to none performance gains when it comes to exhaust

I know there is the BMW one, but what else is out there?

Thanks for the help.

Check out Berk's line of exhaust systems. They're very nice for the price.

The "best" exhaust depends on who you ask.

Active Autowerke exhaust was perfect for me. Relatively subdued at low rpms when just cruising, a nice wail when I floor it, but my favorite part has to be the gurgles! Paired with a DCI up front its like an orgasm in my ear...

Drones a little on the highway, but not too bad.

I've also heard the BMW performance exhaust and liked that a lot too.

I'm loving my Berk Tech. full sport exhaust from David@EAS (I think he still has one or two for sale at a GREAT discount)... it was initially quite boomy/droney but it has settled in quite a bit and it sounds fantastic... If you're really set on not spending more than $500 then I'd suggest going with midpipes (Berk) and keeping the stock axleback.

The Active Autowerke drones a little bit between 2-3k rpm, it quiets down a good bit anywhere after that. So going around 70mph in 6th gear, your gonna hear it the whole time. That's the only downside, everything else is great. Like stated before, the gurgles make this exhaust sound mean.
