avg mpg says 23.2 for the first 5k miles
I am impressed since I live in city like area! 5k miles on the car. It has been slowing going up since I got the car.

That's actually really good for the NOVA area. I lived there for a while and was lucky to get 16MPG in my Impala (which is allegedly 17MPG city - of course, I commuted into DC.) Do drive with a pretty light foot?

I can't keep my foot off the throttle! I get 21.7 - 22.1 on all my fillups.... 75% highway driving. I average around 15 on 100% city driving. I am not sure if or how the JB3 would affect fuel economy, but these numbers are WITH the JB3.

That's pretty good. I'm around the same ballpark, although my latest tank is going to come in around 25.8 with 60% highway, 20% suburbs, and 20% city. By the way, you should document your mileage on TrueDelta.com. It's a pretty nifty little website.

Impressed with mine too. On a recent trip from PA to FL and back I scored a solid 27mpg highway on each tank used. Cruise set at 80mph the whole time.

it's lying, try calculating your actual mileage by filling up the tank and reseting the trip meter, the best you will get is 21mpg with lots of highway driving

You got a very good cat, mine shows 21.5 at 95% of freeway driving with average speed below 50.

21? You're kidding.... You can actually ease off the throttle a little once you hit 100 MPH and still maintain that speed, you know.

that's too high of mpg, start driving like you enjoy it, you should be able to drop it 2-3mpg by having more fun

some of you guys must drive really really slow, my average speed over the 6900 miles that I have had the car is just under 42MPH and every tank I get 19-21MPG actual, the majority of my driving is freeway. I got almost exactly the same fuel economy (actually marginally better) in my 06 M3.
