looks fantastic, so hard to find a good bodyshop anywhere these days. Btw the m3 gts in the parking garage stole the show.

Looks RAD. Wayyy better than standard Valencia, which I despise.

Nice job!

Excellent job. My bet a normal VO still pops up better under sunlight (there really a few things comparable to that, I mean seeing it in person) but anywhere else (cloudy days, closed spaces) this looks more interesting. Eye catching for sure.

Being a detailer i feel like taking a buffer and buffing the stupid out of this flat "frozen" crap BMW is over doing. it needs to come to an end.

Nah, it has no depth

Classic car detailing aims to add as much depth as possible with good waxes and polishing

This paint is just.. Flat.. Totally flat..

I like it, in fact prolly would take the frozen over the 'standard' VO.

Not to take anything away from this car, but more of a philosophical topic, I just wonder if in a couple of years the frozen theme will be too played out. It was cool early on when it came out on some exclusive cars, but now because of wraps and many manufacturers offering this (at a healthy profit margin), over time it may become too common and the uniqueness/novelty will easily wear off. And yeah, the required maintenance is a PITA!

Clear matte wrap does exist. see the video in this link:

And they do have wraps with metallic depth... i own one. 3m makes matte blue metallic which is what my M3's wrapped in

Maybe I'm too old school but I don't think the whole matte paint thing works except on show cars

This only applies to US customers in the mainland. I purchased mine through US military sales in Germany and I didn't have to sign anything. Also no other country makes you sign any forms in regards to frozen paint. US is just suing happy country, and that's why BMW takes extra step to protect themselves.

Beautiful car!
I love to look at frozen cars but I prefer gloss for my own whip.

Looks awesome, but not my preferred finish. I am with some of the old school guys here. I love to make my ride shine. This is beautiful and I am thankful there are many choices for all the great BMW's.

It wont grow on me one bit. I only think frozen silver and black should be it nothing else. Those are the only legit colors that look awesome. Everything else just looks like a dull left in the sun bad weather paint that needs serious detailing. But thats just me itll get played out real fast especially at the rate BMW is going by releasing all these frozen colors back to back.

You can say that again!

Same, and only, reason why we didn't get the ceramic breaks on the M5/M6 for MY 2013. BMW lawyers needed to draft a release, which will be forthcoming for customers opting for these in the MY2014 cars (as the ceramic breaks won't be covered under the maintenance plan).

Gotta 'love' the US's litigious ways....

Looks good! Of course, the anxiety level whilst driving the car is bound to go up. No chips, bird poo, or any blemish is allowed.

Frozen paint is a very whiny mistress.
