The bank screwed me over... took them 9 days to get the check for BMW here... Now I cannot pick up my car until next Wednesday at the earliest. Granted I am in Germany (military buyers program) and the bank, which shall remain nameless, is in the US but still unacceptable to have to wait an extra week for a car that is ready now!

Its amazing how difficult it is to lay hand on your own money again once the bank keeps it for you. With an ATM,they are able to route to your foreign account almost realtime, so why the fuss when you want the money transferred between bank accounts in two countries?

my car must be so evil that god (not trying to push religion on anyone just saying there is a powerful force at work to have luck this bad) prevents me from even seeing it everyway he can....went to the dealer after work cuz its in the storage yard down the street...sales agent takes forever doing crap upstairs... finally comes down.. she grabs a 5 series for us to go and look at my car... go to leave the dealer and the front left tire is completely flat... then spend another 20mins looking for another vehicle to take... get to the storage yard and every gate is closed.

And yes I have not even seen my car yet, though it is sitting there waiting for me because of what happend in my first post.

May I suggest a calming Zen chant? Sit down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, envision your new car and just keep repeating out loud:

"Thi swillall bewor thit"
"Thi swillall bewor thit"
"Thi swillall bewor thit"

Repeat this chant for five minutes whenever you feel particularly stressed about not having your baby yet. It will help.

are you with usaa? they overnighted me a check for my car..

Wow I hate them even more now... yeah they wouldnt do that for me. Their insurance quote was a bit high too. My BMW agent hooked me up with a German insurance company that gave a much better rate for the same full coverage.
