Yeah going to try that
Also mine cracked at the oil line fix point. So would be nice to do something to it.

Interesting to see how it would look with 1M cover though maybe it would be not right to install it with M badge

Also for painting not to much choice of colors of heat resistant paint.

Justin (JK135i) painted his in his exterior color: Saphire Silver (gold-ish). Here is a bad pic of his valve cover painted.

I have always wondered IF you could wrap a vc in some CF foil ?

Well it looks good but you really need to choose something heat resistant paint or even foil. It is possible to wrap it with real carbon but also for that you need to use heat resistant material. My friend did real carbon on his 320d engine but after some time it became yellowish and looks cheap...

Those tires were BIG. I think 235's and 275's - but its best to ask Justin (JK135i) to be sure. I know he also has the front and rear fenders flared quite a bit to make them work. Justin also has the M3 front control arms and tension rods and camber plates(I think?).

18" VMR VB3's which I think are called the V703 on VMR's site. If I remember correctly the offsets are 45f/50r.
