Tire wear
Good day,
I had a flat tire recently and had to change one of the rear tires. I was just wondering if there was any danger to run on a mix of new and used tire( 11200kms) on the rear axle. According to the service advisor at the dealer everything should be fine. Just like to know you thought on that matter? Thanks. |

As long as you don't have an LSD you'll be okay.

Measure your tread depth and compare to a new tire. Also, check out this link.
http://blog.tirerack.com/blog/chads-...drive-vehicles Should give you insight on what is a safe bet, and what you can do if your tires are too far off. The post is directed at AWD cars but the same could apply if you don't want any issues in the rear.
