N54 |Idle surge & Die
Hi Team,
I recently completed an Intake clean and re-assembled everything. I started her up and she started with a few turns.. and idled fine with the cold start high revs but as they came down the revs started to go up and down a few times and dies unless giving it some gas. I did notice that the Intake hose was sort of leaning to one side only slightly and not completely fitting snug into the throttle housing... could that be it? but it doesn't seem to fit in and is quite floppy. the clip doesn't seem to do anything either? or will the Throttle body need to be re-tuned/reset the ecu? thanks for any assistance |

if you touched the flap inside the throttle body then yes it needs to be reset

If you have MHD you can easily reset all adaptations. Need to turn the car off as let it sit for 2m after resetting throttle or the car will be super pissed.
