Agree- I would love a restored E46 M3

I've driven a 1M yesterday which had only 26.000km on the clock and looked like new. When we got back to the owner's house i wanted to park it in reverse on his driveway.

Due to a pretty bad car accident some years ago, i don't have a lot of strength anymore in my right arm and i really had trouble putting the car in reverse

This has withheld me from buying the car on the spot.

Otherwise a great car, power is always available and it looked beautiful in Valencia Orange.

So now looking at something entirely different as the only nice E46 M3's on offer are all SMG, now on the lookout for a Porsche Cayman GTS. I used to have a 2009 Cayman S and i regret selling it.

I really love BMW but they Cayman also drives great, naturally aspirated flat six in the gts as it should be and mid engine layout!

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!!

Congrats, the GT4 looks amazing!

The weekend after next I am attending the "Master the Manual" class at the Atlanta driving center, and can't wait to drive it. Having had the 1M for a few weeks now, it will be neat to experience the differences.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the GT4 as well.

Enjoy

I am fortunate to have a 2005 E46 ZCP and a 1M. Love them both..so similar but different. Wife all over me to sell one. I know it has to be the E46 but it is killing me.

E46 is like your favorite jeans while the 1M a Cracker jack box.
