Opinions Please - 461 wheels on 135i

Hey Everyone,

Wondering what peoples thoughts would be on fitting the 461 rims from 2 series coupe onto a 135?

Wanting to freshen up the look of my car & keep it looking factory like.

Would it be viewed funny putting a car of a lesser spec (I think they are typically fitted to the 220/125's with M Sport package).

Or am I better off looking at finding a clean set of 135i hatch / 235i coupe wheels even though I don't really like the style?

Appreciate any feedback

I'm actually a big fan of those wheels. They're specced on the 228i/230i M-Sport in the US. Unfortunately, they're too narrow for my spec which disqualifies them for me. I'm already running 225/255 on the factory 261M wheels, and if I spend any money on something else, it's going to be wider.

I'll think they'd look great and 99% of people wouldn't know they're not standard on the car (especially considering they're pretty similar to the 261M design).

I have a set of these in the garage waiting to go on my mum's F20 116i - maybe I should chuck them on my E87 130i for a look

Thanks guys for the replies, I like the wheel design too, it's like an updated factory 261M the 135i's came out with!

I'd be keeping the rubber the same as factory sepc, don't want wider or bigger tyres for daily street driving.

Walkie86 I would take a stab & say they'd very much suit the 130i!

I had a set for a while. The rears are 0.5" narrower though. They look great! A bit more aggressive than 261s. Most people cant tell the difference and won't notice if you parked a car with 261 next to it.

That does look good!
Takes a few years off the look of the car that has 261's for sure!
