Looking for clean 1M. Anyone used Perillo?
In California and looking for a clean 1M black on black stock with good history. I see Perillo in Chicago has many that run the gammut from outworldly 74k to down to earth 54k. Not sure how they end up with so many of these, but has anyone used them? Would be a leap of faith to buy from across the country and ship as I don't know anyone back there to look over a car. Thoughts?

@ Luca335-, oh man I so missed that.
Test drove one this week that had 13k at the local Honda dealer. They wanted 53. It had an electrical failure during the test drive, the headlights had fog/moisture and the paint meter was reading 4.5 to 5.5 to 6 on the right side. Couldn't schedule a PPI as they "had a buyer coming in tomorrow." I passed. @ ZayZay- What do you mean the 74k one has a scratch..as far as knowing the condition? |

Yeh, they're were also trying to sell for top dollar a few of the "rode hard put up wet" 1M's that came from the performance driving school in SC.
I'd give them a miss!!!!!! |

I talked to a friend who works for us now that was our BMW regional rep 6 months ago, told him that Perillo is stock piling them and asking all the money! His response was that it sounded like their philosophy. I can't remember who he said the owner of Perillo was, but that he would probably try to corner the market. Doesn't sound like the nicest people to work with! But if you can't find any others...what are you gonna do.
I bet when the M2 comes out in a year you'll see some more availability.

I've bought all my cars including my 1M thru them and always have had a great experience. That is their asking price but it's only a starting point (albeit a high one). I'll PM you the person I deal with there.

Not black....but there is a pretty clean looking VO 1M at Competition BMW in Long Island, NY. I saw it when i dropped my car off for service. They have it listed at $62k but i'm sure that is negotiable. It's also certified.

Same here...got both our X5s from there, solid experience and they provided strong customer service. My 1M was sourced from Orland Park because that's where I found an allocation...great experience there too (fostered Euro delivery for me).
