Because I have an earlier 130 I have a bolt up and hence the price.

135 auto I believe are also bolt in.

Andrew at Southern BM in Melbourne can help with either diffs and I believe he has in stock.
Thanks Blacky. Yeah, I've got the welded manual 135 diff Who's doing your work?

If I decide to keep the bucket of bolts LOL I will be getting an LSD and expect Andrew from Southern BM will be doing the job.

Down here in Vic I think he is the local agent and has them on the shelf.

Sorry Blacky. I should be asking dontask (fellow Brisbane resident), who's doing his install. Tim.

I realised that I got quoted a ridiculous price for the install... will be looking cancelling first thing Monday and will look for someone else...

I guess your is going to look pretty similar to this

At 900km the gearbox is still notchy but I think getting better. The only major disappointment I have is the dampers are sloppy.

It will be good to see some pics with Grey interior.

Well done on the purchase. I didn't think anyone bought new 130 s anymore but good to see you took the plunge.

I have a black 06 and get most of my work done at Midas Tingalpa.
The owner there is a BMW fan and even races improved production. They are very good. I actually got them to make me a custom rear exhaust section which cost about $800, looks amazing, sounds great but certainly not loud.
They are a very quiet engine even with this mod.

Regarding gearbox notchyness, I just changed the oil using Redline superlight shockproof which is expensive ( you will use about 90-100 bucks worth) but it makes a significant difference to the feel of the gearbox and is great stuff.

my car had a quaife ATB fitted when I bought it but I think the fitting price when I looked at the reciepts was about 400-500 bucks (done 18 months ago)

I have just ordered a Gruppe M replica ( cheap one off ebay) carbon air box, which they assure me comes with a genuine K and N filter that I am awaiting delivery on.

Cost $480 delivered to brisbane.

have fun!

Yes mate, that was the one. I just forgot, you were keen to make a group purchase!
Sorry, I first offered them 380 delivered and they said no, but you should have no trouble getting onefor 480 delivered.
i also bought a matt black grille (from another ebay vendor) and fitted it a few minutes ago, took most of the skin off my hands doing it, but it is on.
Cost about 60 bucks delivered. Look OK, makes it look tough, but is the raw plastic finish, should have got a gloss black instead.

Will send photos of all the mods once the airbox arrives.
