Rear Ended

Looks like someone had hit my bumper and not left a note. Any idea how much this will cost for repair?

Granted, you can't really see it in the far away photo, but it bothers the heck out of me, and it's the first thing I see whenever I see it.

Battle scars...........i wouldn't bother getting that fixed. If you do any parallel parking you gonna get more of that. I'll rather have have dents like that on the plastic, vs dings on the sheet metal....

Ugh I know that feeling. I've had license plate damage like that on my bumper for the last year...it sucks but it's not worth the money to fix it

Anyone care to chime in if that line will grow longer if left as is?

It will cost around $400 for the repair, and that is to R&R, base coat and clear. It us an easy job. At least it will not rust! Get it fixed.

It's just a mark in the plastic... it will not grow or rust if left alone. Unless there's a chunk taken out of the bumper it will be a remove-repair-repaint job. <$500 would be my guess.

Before I read this thread I had a $375 figure in mind for the same scope of work. We think a like. I have been around body shops for awhile and you get a pretty good sense.

That sucks and I feel the pain. My WRX has been hit four separate times while parked.

Man...it is an eye sore, but honestly, $400-$500 to get it fixed just doesn't seem worth it...especially since it's something that could happen again and is completely out of my control.

I don't understand people sometimes though...If I ever hit a parked car, I would leave a note or something. Gosh darn irresponsible people...

Get it fixed. I'm an amateur detailer and that would annoy me every time I looked at it. But here in L.A. I would estimate the cost at $500.
