I wish they were a better match colorwise, but other aspects of their "performance," if you will, make up for it. Brightness being one of them.

Also, as a follow up to mikewills' post above, I think both wires going to the connector are suspect. On one of my connectors, the red wire was backing out, causing the led to flicker until I figured out what was happening.
For the color match, what would you prefer to be different to have them be a better color match?

Disclaimer: I cannot answer your question in a technical manner, since I do not know what needs to be done to achieve my preference. Additionally, I understand that the lci lights weren't around when you were developing your product, so please do not take this as a criticism but perhaps a request for future product development. You have a good reputation here and everywhere else I have seen and I do not wish for this suggestion to be taken as an assault on that.

Answer to your question: In layman's terms, it appears that the color temperature should to be reduced to match the eyelid. To my uncalibrated eye, it appears that the eyelid is around 5500K to 6000K and I believe your product is 6500K. It's close, but since they are basically intersecting in the lci light cluster, the difference shows to my persnickety self.

I hope this helps to clarify my previous statement.

Agree that it would be wonderful if the halo ring color could match the white LED line above them! That would look stellar!

I wish I read this before I installed my leds on Tuesday!

5000K sounds like the right idea and possibly exactly what I was looking for.

This is also bad news! I had hoped to stop adding stuff to my 1M... ;-)

Soon I will start thinking "Akra" also again... (scary thought)

Its like the iPhone. You need to change it for minor updates once a year... ;-) Seriously I know the pain when you just installed or bought something and something new do come around. But that is always the case. Just that the timing can be more or less bad.

i personally LOVE the blue, but my statement might be invalid. cant you guys make a product that would turn the brow blue too to match your current lights? THAT would be the perfect combo in my opinion!!

I think that the current LUX items are superb and anyone who has seen mine have said how good they look. I like the fact they're a little blue because against the white of my car it looks unreal!

Good that the taste is different. I want the white look of the led brow. I really don't want any blue. Color matched "white" and I will buy. Would look stellar! Truly love the white LED color of the brow in the car! It looks so good! The yellow halo rings I hate! Lux give me whiiiiite! Soooon! ;-)
