Goodyear Eagle F1

Lots of folks over at babybmw.net run these tires and like them. Why don't more people here run them?

I have them on my MINI and they perform great.

I use F1 Assymetric 2- great tire, dry grip and breaking is way stronger than the former Michelin PS2, rather quiet, steering wheel feedback is grainy-crisp.
Wet traction is just uncomparable to PS2- much much better aquaplanning resistance and side grip as well.
Comfort is also a little better on F1.
Highly recommended.

coming from Yokohama ADO8's .....that I had on my car and recently sold my car to my son..he just put on the Fi Asymetric tires and is not happy with the outcome. A much softer ride and not does not seem to handle as well...I told him to increase the tire inflation a few notches...Anyone else have any advice to make this tire perform a bit better and how much increase in inflation should we try? Right now he wants to sell these tires after only a month and go back to the ADo8's....which were amazing.

Hi,
Does he have the F1 Assymetric 1 or 2?
If 1 it is normal- this is an overally soft tire.
If there is version 2- I make the 2,6 rear and 2,2 front- good reaction, great comfort, crisp feedback, low noise, amaizing dry & wet all direction grip- breaking is so strong, you can make your passangers show their breakfast.
+a bonus of an immortal sidewall.
Perfect tire.

I love my F1 As2's ! Great tire in dry and wet. I had the old version on another car and the V2's are way better!

How is the Asymmetric all-season comparable? Looking for a good all-season tire. Also, found Hankook Ventus S1 noble 2...if anyone has input on that as well
