[EMPOWERD]

Bimmercruise would like to invite members to our 11th annual BMW/Mini
car show on Sunday August 21, 2011 (rain or shine). Location will be the same as last year,
Powerade Center... 7575 Kennedy Rd. S Brampton

Spectator admission is free but parking is $5.00/car, show cars competing for prizes and/or trophies
will be charged $20.00. 10:00am morning-cruise departure info below, Show & Shine begins @12noon,
trophy ceremony scheduled for 5pm.

Mobile dyno scheduled for HP/TQ testing (1st come basis) $80.00 for 3 pulls.

Autocross is sponsored by BMW Club of Canada -Trillium Chapter and will start at 11:00am.
Cost is $40/competitor for Trillium members ($50 for non-members) which includes 5-7 runs and BBQ lunch.
The course will be designed to allow beginners a fair chance to get competitive results.
Non-BMW racers welcome (Autocross only). A separate entrance & parking
lot on the north side will be used for Autocross competitors. An exception was made for this event
where competitors can join throughout the day, but will be limited to the number
of runs depending on volume and time of day.



Cruise will depart at 10:00am sharp! Meeting location is the parking lot for
Moxie's Classic Grill, 2959 Argentia Road, Mississauga, ON
(SE corner of 401 & Winston Churchill Blvd). Location map below.
Cruise-route maps will be handed out there upon departure. Bring an FRS walkie-talkie if you have one.
The cruise will finish at the show grounds (Brampton's Powerade Center) around 12:00 noon.

It was a pretty decent turnout with the amount of cars there but most ppl didn't compete. So many cars that were part of the competition left during the crazy rain storm. We all paid and entered but none of our cars got judged........ So stupid. We should get our money back.

Yes, there was a lot of autocross happening. Those guys drove their cars to the ground lol. So many pylons got murdered today >_<

ya man, I wish it didn't rain. The turn out was good but damn it, they promised us a bbq but they never set one up

Promised a BBQ? What are you talking about? Judging-wise, by 4:30pm all remaining competitors were judged. Again,, don't know what you're complaining about. I guess some people are never satisfied. Sorry to disappoint anyone. We tried our best under the circumstances (numerous volunteers did not show) Next year the judging will be restructurd so everyone is completed sooner.

I don't want to be rude but that excerpt was from the bimmercruise website. There was no bbq lunch available yesterday. The only food that was there were an ice cream truck and a pizza truck.

I'm certain the only reason why you guys finished the judging before 4:30 was due to the fact that so many cars that registered for the competition left due to the heavy rain. You simply can't deny that it's true.

Pizza guy was selling BBQ wings (6 different flavors). Symantics aside, you are obviously disgruntled, picking apart anything you can and clearly a difficult individual to satisfy. Again, sorry we didn't have a flame-BBQ on site.
