TPMS Transmitter/ receiver front location?

I looked online and can't find the actual mounting location of the TPMS Transmitter/ receiver.

Has anyone any idea where they mount? Can't see anywhere on the plastic fender liners or the fenders themselves. Could it be the front bumper?

Previous owner changed out the front bumper and removed the headlight washers I'm trying to return the car back to stock.

Any suggestions on there location would be a great help or any pictures.

Many Thanks

Not sure if they changed it, but on my 08 135i the transmitters are in each wheel well, but the receiver is basically under the drivers side door (behind all the under panels). It looks like a large pack of gum in size.

Correct there are four transmitters one for each wheel. The previous owner removed mine. Wiring for the transmitters are there but as he changed the front bumper and fender liners there wasn't any holes for me to know where to place them.

Thanks for advise about receiver I'll have to check he didn't remove that also. Had four fault codes but two were cleared when I added the transmitters.

Currently I have two trouble codes both say unknown fault - code: 00604E - code: 006053.

006053 is an RDC aerial code. This is for the receiver under the driver side. It may be that the receiver is bad or not present. Or the wiring or RDC module is not working properly. Note that if the control module in the trunk is having issues then the RDC aerial code may show up even though the aerial is fine. This happened to me with a water-damaged RDC module in the trunk.

00604E is a general RDC system fault. See attached.

Hope that helps.

Well the RDC reception antenna is there however it isn't hooked up. The wire is just cut and can't see where the rest of the wire is.

All fixed! What a project that turned in to. After replacing one RDC receiver, locating cut wires for RDC antenna and reconnecting it works.
