So I've made a very important decision today.
I'm going to get my windows tinted. I'm thinking a light tint all around, probably at Lazer.... I'm hoping they'll be able to fix the chip in my windshield at the same time. |

You definitely won't regret it. Good for the look but also blocks some sun like in heat

Yeah it's a good thing to do. I got a tint blocking 30% light on the sides and 50% for the rear window, and like that very much (Was the same with my E46).
Stew: My sister got a broken back when a few horses got crazy and the whole thing ended in a stampede. It was only the second time we were riding these animals. Luckily, she didn't have any sequels... But now I very much prefer riding something that does not have a mind of its own! |

I was thinking of doing a light tint all around (30 or 35%).
Where did you get yours done Wolf? BTW... both my sister and cousin are into riding. It's pretty a pretty dangerous sport. The first time she fell she almost didn't go back, but she got back on and fell off many times over the course of the years. Sadly her horse died last year (she had him since she was about 15) and she seems to have dropped it for now. |

Nice girlie wheels LOL!
Losing a horse is brutal. That's all I can say. Where did your sis and cousin ride? We're training a horse right now and he's coming along really well for English. Does your sis want to have a look at him?

The girly wheels are hot as hell and you know it Stew. You have them too!
She started off at Dunelm (sp?) farm and then moved to another one that I can't remember the name of right now. It was very nearby though. My cousin lives in England. That's a beautiful horse. I'll ask her, thanks. Are you selling him? BTW... I saw this pic of the new Toyota Tundra and thought of you: |

Wow, what hot lookin' truck and trailer!!! I wish I had one!! Still like my trailer better!
We know Dunelm, that's the Oswalds' place. The horse is for sale or lease at the end of the summer, we have arrangement for him until then.

Yeah, that's right.... Oswalds. The other one was Haney or something?
I would have gone for the Idrive if I wasn't such a cheap bastard. I'm used to gremlins with all the windows products I'm running. Maybe on my next car. |

Hey guys, I have tinted the windows at the dealer-did a great job, brought the tint all the way up to the edge of the windows-the tint in back was 35% I think, almost nothing in front side windows and of course nothing on windshield.
I strongly recommend tint, especially for darker colour cars. I have ridden a horse once in my life, some lame dame who would refuse to move (almost had to change horses), then at the end of the 2 hour ordeal she starts to scoot home really fast (I guess she wnated to get back quick), and almost scarred the giude 'cause she would not stop. That was the beginning and the end of my horse adventures. For those of you who have met me took my baby to 195Km/Hour the other day. This car begs to be driven fast. Next is Vmax-I want to see if she'll go over 210 with the sports package, but I want to do it once I have the summers on. |

I'm going to stop by laser today and find out what the deal is.
I pushed it to 220km on my way back from Ottawa last weekend. I know it's stupid, but I can't resist. Runflats will be going on soon. I found out if I hit 15 points I will lose my licence for 3 months. I don't even know what I would do if that happened. I actually scared the shit out of myself and almost ran out of gas on the same trip. I must have have driven for about 20 minutes with the kms until empty showing "--". I was driving so conservatively, when I filled up the tank it went up to 905km. With my usual driving it's at about 650km when I fill up. |

Freak man, you guys are special....I hit 170 without thinking the other day, note to self, need car and licence, must remember to go a bit slower....love this ticket slowdown by the SQ!!!
Tom, are you sure you're not driving a BMW Hybrid? That's Corolla Mileage!! I can't wait to wear out my runflats and buy REAL tires again! Apparently BMW is increasing the lease rate to 7.45% AN lowering the residuals a percentage point. They'll also be increasing incentives to existing customers, interesting eh? Make the barrier to entry higher, retain your existing clientele....Sales are VERY good apparently. Jalbert Kirkland did a record 100 cars last month!

Try doing 90km per hour in 6th, with all the fans/radio off... putting the clutch in and coasting down hills. If only I had the discipline to drive like that all the time, I'd save a fortune in gas.
I did that speed in an extremely short burst on a totally open road, during the day with nobody around. Anyway, I think once you pass 180 or so it doesn't really matter how fast you're going... you're going to be in big trouble no matter what. What's the ticket slowdown? I'm booked for tints at laser ($219). The higher the % the lighter they are.... they said they usually do 50% front, 35% back. I want to either do 50% all around or 35% all around. I'm not sure which yet. |

Oh, yeah... and I checked the other day the rates have gone up. I didn't notice the residual. I'm really glad to see that I got a better deal 6 months ago, then I would have now. I got 6.45% (-0.5% because I did the single payment lease) with a 63% residual. The residual was better than the 323 or the 330.

The SQ have been working without a contract for several years and are not doing mych highway ticketing at all. However, there are 133 new cruisers for city and service road ticket work, so BE CAREFUL! If I tint it would be same color side and back. I don't like two-tone tinting (except Bimmerista's car!).

I keep meaning to see what kind of gas milleage I can get, but I have yet to make it through a tank of gas before going back to lead foot mode.
I know, cops are everywhere. I'm too scared to really speed. Fortunately there's no law I know of against accelerating hard to the speed limit... or not slowing down for corners. |
