Hey Mike,
Is a Lemans Blue E92 M3 in your near future? To anyone who reads this thread: If you're going to buy a car from the original owner (let alone previous owner), you won't find one that's been better cared for than Mike's. I speak from personal experience. I bought my E46 M3 from Mike a year ago. The car was pristine; not just because he cleaned it up for sale, but because he always keeps them pristine. All records, all information, readily available. When he and I spoke, it was clearly evident that he was knowledgable about, and cared for, the car. Best on the sale Mike! |

Reason for selling?
It is very nice and fully loaded except it is missing the Nav. Good luck!

thanks for the kind words guys, I am considering a few other cars, probably something with an ///M on the back. I still like this car a lot and will be happy driving it until it sells.

Just curious, what'd this car cost when you bought it new?
Because I think someone could save a lot over buying new! Probably one of the best color combo's out there also. Last edited by DocSean; 06-08-2009 at 10:55 PM.. |

car is currently for sale, price is $27k OBO, it has just over 49k miles, since the original posting I swapped out the wheels for Alufelgen CSL/ZCP reps wearing Michelin pilot super sport tires, tires have ~6k miles. The car also has custom ESS stage 2 software, hand tuned by AJ. I had the latest scheduled service performed a few weeks ago, car got new spark plugs, air filter and oil service along with a clean bill of health from my tech, I have always changed the oil myself twice as often as recommended by the factory. The car is in excellent shape, no dents/dings/accidents, OEM car cover and oil filter socket included. I'll be trading it in in a few weeks if I don't sell it, here's a recent pic

I'm in the Phoenix area, price is OBO within reason, but I only have a short time to try to sell the car privately before my new car arrives at the dealer, it may only be a week, they are going to give me a very acceptable trade for the car, but my sentimental side would feel better seeing the car go to someone who will properly appreciate and enjoy it than to give it to a dealer. Please email me very soon if interested and we can exchange numbers and speak about the details, thanks.

I just test drove your car at the dealer! Too bad I didn't find your post sooner. I am seriously thinking about going back tomorrow to complete the purchase. It's the cleanest one I've seen so far and the only montego blue in AZ for sale at the moment.
I was wondering, you mentioned that you had the ESS stage 2 tune. Is it still installed? I'm a noob I can't tell by driving it. Also, are there any issues or history with the car such as the hpfp issue? |

I had one HPFP replaced at 16k miles and had the software updated, the ESS tune was based on the new version of the BMW software as well, there were no further issues with the HPFP after that and the car always functioned flawlessly for me, there is also a 10yr/120k mi warranty on the HPFP on all 2009 N54 equipped cars so it shouldn't be a concern. I had all service performed at N Scottsdale and my service advisor is Eric Rasen, they will have the full service history of the vehicle linked to the VIN. There was a recall for the injectors last year and they replaced one of them, though the car ran fine and I was unaware of the recall until I took it in for a scheduled service visit, I noticed zero difference after. I also had an issue with the A/C early last year and it was fixed under warranty and functioned perfectly since, everything else was just routine maintenance, the next thing the car will need is a brake fluid flush and microfilter change in September. Good luck, it's a great car and I'll always miss it. |

btw, the dealer selling my car is advertising it with incorrect colors and options, I left a copy of the original window sticker in the portfolio with all of the owner's manuals in the glovebox, make them aware of the fact that you know it is there and you want it, the original MSRP of the car when I ordered it in September 2008 was $43175, it was purchased from Chapman Camelback. The iPod adapter cable was also left inside the center armrest. Hit me up via email if you buy the car and want more info, I might give you the service records if you can't get them from the BMW dealer, I removed them because they have all if my personal info and I figured it's all tied to the VIN anyway.

Hey Dust,
Sent you a message a week back. Not sure you got it, just wanted to let you know I ended up purchasing your 1 from the dealer. The car is immaculate. I am amazed at how well it has been maintained. Even the engine bay looks brand spanking new. Thank you! For those reading this post remember this guy. If he sells a car in the future that you are looking for buy it you will not be disappointed. |
