Very nice, can't wait to see the pictures. Im thinking of getting a 135is but not sure yet. Quick question, what would you have to do to install a tune other than the factory ppk tune? Would you have to remove the stock tune then add the new tune?

Car showed up at the dealer on Sunday. I had to leave town for work so I won't be able to pick up until Friday. I'm still waiting on the struts and springs. Car goes in for tint on Saturday. Let the mods begin!

I think your suspension mods are incomplete without m3 subframe bushings, especially if you are going with an LSD.

Springs will be here on Friday. Forgestar CF5 brushed charcoal in on Monday. I don't have the ETA yet on the Bilsteins. They have been ordered from bavauto but were not in stock. Once the Bilsteins are in then I should be good.

+1 on getting M3 subframe bushings to kill the body roll and accent your beautiful soon-to-be setup. Looking good so far! Keep the photo journal coming!

Are you selling those 313 wheels? If so, I might be interested.

Did you get confirmation that the iS needs the Performance Suspension? I contacted my dealer who contacted BMW about this as I wanted it installed on my new iS. They said it was already part of the package.

The 'is' comes with the standard M suspension. It does not come with the performance springs. The Bilsteins and Eibach sway bars I selected are more aggressive than the BMW performance parts. I had some Eibach pro springs but returned them since I was looking for a subtle lowering. The BMW perf springs lower by 10mm (about 0.4 inches) vs the Eibach pro which lower by 1.2 inches. I'll measure the actual drop from axle to fender before and after the new springs are installed.

Springs are a must, man these IS's are jacked up like a 4x4. Wonder if the new 135i sits the same?

Whats the ETA? And are you doing any go-fast mods? Tune, exhaust, etc?

ETA is tomorrow. No added mods at this time. I love the BMWP exhaust that came on the 'is'. Won't be replacing that for sure. My wheel and tire combination saved over 6lbs per wheel.

Have you been able to drive this setup yet? Just wondering if the larger front tire circumference fouls up the stability control system on the street.

I am contemplating what setup I want to use down the road.

Thanks

So far so good with the 235/40 and 245/35 setup. Hard to tell exactly what difference the overall suspension mods made to the car since I had only 200 miles on the car when I brought it in for the work. In any event the car is very quick to turn in with the camber plates and the almost square setup. Much faster than my e90 with BMW Perf suspension or my e46 with HR and Bilsteins.
