19? That sounds like a but big for the car, which will just make it much slower.

I have 19" CSL on my 120d M -08. The performence is almsot the same as 17". The car looks like 1 Million dollars. Have people which I don't know telling me that on the street. Young people and old people.

I'll try to post some pics later today.

I was planing to get 18" but after seeing pics I decided to get 19" and I'm very happy with the result.

You can fit 20's on a 1 series. Or at least Tire Rack thinks so

tried to fit my oem csl wheels on my 135i last week.

they dont fit

size is 8x19 ET 47 with 235/35/19

i tried 10mm spacers too, would've worked, but then id be scraping some plastik behind the oil cooler.

Matt,

Thats strange. Is it only the front that is not working or the back too? Here are the specs for according the the e90post calculator and the front should work.

OEM:
f: 7.5 et 49 -> 8.0 et 47 will give you (4mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 8mm)

r: 8.5 et 52 -> not sure the spec for the oem csl rear.

yeah the blackberry is not great for pics, they are BMW 203 rims. I got them from a local guy for $1200, they rub a bit in the back on big bumps. I am putting in K&W V.3 so that it is stiffer so that should solve the problem.

I admire your efforts but dislike the choice of rims.

Did your wheels require spacers? Is there any rubbing?

They look great.

They did rub. We had to shave a couple mm from the rim to make it fit.
