Just took delivery of my 2011 135i

SBM/Black interior
MSport
Premium
HK
Sirius
6MT
Comfort Access

Put 110 miles on since 7pm when I picked it up.

Great car, exhaust smells bad, guess it's burning off all the stuff that was in the engine when I picked it up. Had 9 miles on it.

Set up bluetooth, sirius, and my settings so far.

First mod will be tint and black trim grills

Congrats and welcome!

You're one of only a few N55 manuals.
Please post on your driving experience when you get some more wheel time.

Yeah I think so! When I built the car out the dealer could not find 1 in the whole USA that had that color and options so I had to build it! I am surprised because DSB is a awesome color! But that is OK I don't like having what everyone else has! Congrats on yours. When you can give me some more feedback on your new puchase! I am climbing the walls here waiting to pull out of the dealership with mine! They have not even built it yet!

Actually I just kinda fell into this color. I had a list of about 6-7 different color combos ranked and gave them to my CA and said find me one of these. DSB was near the bottom but I still love it, just really wanted Terracotta leather so I thought White or Space Grey woulda looked better with that. He found this car for me (DSB/black) while it was just getting to port and said he could have it for me in 3-5 days or I could build one and get it in 2 months so since I had a buyer ready on my 328 I took this one even though I woulda preferred oyster interior on a blue car. It's a great color and a lot nicer than I thought it would be (was thinking it would be more purple and darker like a mix of monaco and montego blues). It's light and blue enough to be sporty looking but also just dark enough to be a little classier looking. A true "BMW" color which mixes performance and luxury just like the cars.

BTW sorry for the

It was the only option with M sport. I originally wanted the piano black trim, as that is what I have in my audi

you can still get 2 other wood finishes with Msport though was what I was saying. I got the dark wood and got it removed ASAP.

Looks good, enjoy it. The torque is SO nice in this new engine.

Congratulations on the new car. I also went for a 135i with 6MT ... Le Mans Blue, M-Sport, Premium Package & HK stereo. Had to order it special to get the manual transmission, though. My "track your car" status changed last week from "awaiting transport" to "en route." Any idea how long it typically takes for the car to arrive at the dealer from when it ships?

WOW the DSB looks even better than I thought! SO glad I am getting it in that color!!! My buddy got the 135i convertible in spacy gray and coral red seats and it looks HOT! Great looking car you have I cannot wait to get mine now!! I love about 25 min away from the New Jersey port it is coming in on so once it is here it should be less than 3 days to get it!

You have an audi too? I am trading in my Audi S4 for this car. It is a hell of a car and very fast with is 340hp V-8 but honestly the 135i with the DCT is faster!

Those of you with an N55 and manual, can you post some of your driving perceptions in comparison to an N54 with manual, if you've driven an N54?

Also, can you comment on any suspension/handling differences?
There have been comments made by some auto press that BMW tweaked the suspension on the N55 135i suspension.

And, if you have any perceived differences between the DCT and manual N55, please post.

I've driven an N54 but not hard on the corners so I can't comment on the suspension. The torque is the main thing I notice, feels like it kicks in faster and harder than the N54 did (not buy much but a little). Haven't driven the DCT but I'm a life long MT guy so it had to come with 3 pedals or else I wasn't buying it.

10-14 days depending on weather & if things need to be taken care of at the VPC.
