Dealer replaced mine few months ago and just came back from first oil change(last week) and noticed my third light has a crack in the middle again! So, will be making appointment to bring it in again....waste of consumer's time!!! Why can't they do it right the first time huh!!!

Just had mine fixed - crack was only half-way down but didn't want to drop bits of plastic onto the road.

My rear boot brake light is even worst..
   Visited AC last month and been told that they will have to order a new one for me in a week time, but after one month, no reply from them so far..

Thread revival...
Have to say my local BMW dealership in south east Melbourne has been very disappointing. Light has cracked and fallen off this week. Tried to get dealership to replace under warranty and response I got was "Unfortunately the car is over 5 years of age so we cannot assist the client; it is outside of goodwill guidelines." End date of replacement would have been 28/11/2013. The replacement cost and fitting was costed at $270...  When I look at that date and today the difference is 7 days. Fair to say I wont ever be going back to them for anything. Very poor customer service. Lucky I have found the part online for $60 and will be fitting myself. Thank you eBay!  |
