hey! nice, i spot 1ers rarely, sometimes modded and always check the forums with no luck.
Nice to finally find a fellow 1addict. Do you live in the Glendale area? (I am in hilltop over Alameda/Holly). Close to where we ran into each other. What mods you running? |

Yeah it is pretty rare to see 1's. Yep I'm in the Glendale area. Sorry I couldn't chat then my gf was pissed off at me (nothing to do with the cars) so I was trying to hurry home haha.
Car is FBO with stock n54 mids and Maddad V1 whisper. I was running around 70(91)/30(e85) fuel mix. Usually its 50/50. A couple suspension mods too. What else do you have besides the Cobb? Which stage you running? |

I am running Cobb Stage1 +FMIC sport (until DPs). ETS 5" FMIC, ER Charge Pipe/Forge DVs, Berk Full Sport exhaust, BMS DCI, BMS OCC, Euro blackline tails, VMR V718 wheels, ebay cf diffuser Funny, my wife commented about how your wife/gf seemed about as excited as she was about us racing around on CO Blvd. How is the e85 mix? I have always thought about it driving by one of the only stations that has it on my way to work. Would love something to run the 93oct cobb maps. If you ever want to hit up the Bull and Bush for a beer, let me know...see if we could make a meet out of it for the locals |

It's really nice to be able to switch maps so you can run different fuel. I had an Evo 8 that ran only e85. FP Black, 2.3 stroker, ported heads, etc... Thing that sucked was I had to run 1650cc injectors with dual 255lph pumps! I had to carry an extra 5gal tank of e85 in the trunk. I did put down 601awhp/591awtq on a mustang dyno though and that was fun.

DP install wasn't too bad because I had already done the M3 bar and saw most of the underneath components. I had a hell of a time getting the rear downpipe re-installed. Once that was done it wasn't too bad maybe 3-4 hours total. Past experience was changing out complete turbo kits on my Evo 4 or 5 times. I did the BMW suspension under the estimated time with a floor jack and a $15 spring compressor. |
