Titek vs. Cp-e Chargepipe BOV?
http://www.**********s.com/Titek-HKS...-Valve-N54.htm
http://www.cp-e.com/2180.html Guys gimme some constructive opinions between these two setups. The titek setup is about $40 cheaper however the Cp-e setup utilizes the stock connections at the throttle body which can only mean a tighter seal. Looking for those who have either setup as well. Also, anyone run into any bullshit with their dealers voiding warranties because of this? I mean I can see my dealer bypassing an exhaust or something, but I just have a feeling if they saw this they would throw up red flags. Also, HKS valve over Tial. I personally like the HKS a good bit more, completely leak-free design now, very sharp looking, just wondering if it would be too loud over the Tial valve.. |

The CP-E is on my shopping list. I would not buy the Titek set up. Based on how it mounts to the TB, CP-E wins hands down. I think the two top choices are the CP-E and the Evolution Raceworks set ups.
Once again, every dealer is different. Depending on the problem with the car, the dealer may or may not blame your aftermarket charge pipe. I would personally just put it back to stock for a dealer visit, the Charge Pipe is a very easy swap put. As for sound, I believe the HKS will be a little quieter than the tial...both will sound good. I like the CP-E with Tial setup because you can still use the factory air box if you wish. CP-E also has an option for the new HKS valve. You pay for what you get, I would spend the extra cash and go with CP-E or ER. My opinion is based on research from several forums/reviews. I personally do not have either set up.

+1 on CP-E or ER, by far the best design. I would give the slight notch to CP-E since they use the regular Tial BOV instead of the Tial Q BOV, not sure what the diffs are but ive used the regular Tial before and it was great

I went with the ER with Forge Dv's, now I just need to install.

I would recommend the Evolution RaceWerks setup paired up with the HKS SSQV. The ER Diverter Valve Upgrade Pipe can utilize any BOV or diverter valve you desire. ER can weld the HKS BOV flange on our Diverter Valve Upgrade Pipe or any other flange type so that you can utilize any BOV or diverter valve you want. Due to the fact that there are so many options for BOV's and diverter valves, it will be impossible for us to stock these options.

Ok, new question. The Cp-e pipe has the valve located farther down towards the IC which looks like it would fit easier with the stock intake setup better, but also looks like the pipe itself shrinks halfway down, whereas the ER pipe is the same diameter thru the whole pipe, however their valve is set higher towards the TB which looks like it may pose a fitment problem with the stock intake. Is this the case?
Anyone running the ER pipe with BOV and stock intake? |

The CP-e is not a full 3 inch, it's actually 2.5 inches. Does this make a difference?....I really doubt it.
