Revzport Diffuser Install
Good Morning everyone
Finally getting around to install my revozport rear diffuser. Has anyone installed theirs? My oem valance has what appear to be plastic rivets. My thoughts are I'd have to remove these get new ones from the dealer and install. It seems drilling will be involved to remove which pains me but if it's only to remove the rivets and replace that's not an issue. Can anyone assist?

I didn't use the plastic rivets to install my revozport diffuser...the diffuser has these 'fangs' that lock into position. There are also two screws that you in on the bottom and left to secure.

The OEM diffuser is attached with single-use plastic pop rivets. To remove them you can snip them from the top and then pull out from the bottom. Just have to be patient.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=21 I bought the tool and haven't gotten around to using it yet because my diffuser is currently held on using standard trim push rivet things that look like this (not sure if the link is the correct size): https://www.summitracing.com/parts/r...yABEgIWevD_BwE |

You can do what ayao stated and snip them from the top as they're plastic if you don't feel comfortable with drilling. I replaced them with OEM plastic rivets.
Mine also didn't like my aftermarket exhaust (Akrapovic) so I used spacers between the plastic boot floor and the 'ground effects panel' along with longer bolts. |
