Cradle for Shooting In-Car Video with Harry\'s Laptimer for iPhone 4

Anybody recommend a specific IPhone cradle to mount to the window and shoot video using Harry\'s Laptimer?

I use tomtom iphone charging adapter. I hear RAM suction cups are popular too. however, I use gopro to shoot my video.

I just got this...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

Seems like it's gonna work great in terms of visibility. Also the great part is the base is open to attach a high refresh rate gps later

I saw that exact mount recommend on Harry's forum. Have you gotten to try it yet? The 3 things I am concerned about are vibration, how well it attaches to the windshield, and visibility of the camera. You already touched on the visibility, so I am curious about the first two. Thanks!

I tried it on the bathroom mirror lol. I literally got it in the mail on friday so no on track use. From what i can tell it seems to be a sturdy mount. As far as movement goes, it'll really depend on how much the window vibrates and how bumpy the track is. Once you tighten into place it's not going to go anywhere and the suction was strong.

Thanks. What I meant by vibration is how rigid are the hinges in the mount itself? I.e. even if the suction to the windshield is strong, if the hinges aren't rigid, the phone will still shake up and down.

The "hinges" can both be clamped down to ensure no movement
