So I'm at the dealer for an oil service... And it turns out my hood won't open. They're gonna try to pop out a kidney grill and see if something breaks. Lol

If they gave us a reason to open the hood more... (hint: like a dipstick) maybe you wouldn't have a stuck hood.

Sorry to hear.

You can take our the kidney grill without opening the hood. You won't want to put it back in though.

It the car is still under warranty they will probably replace the grill, fix the hood latch, and then change the oil.

No worries. Nothing drastic needed to happen. THey managed to angle a long screwdriver and lift the latch with it. TUrns out my cable pulled through the box-thing. Unfortunately my warranty is up (I have maintenance), so I'll probably be going through 3D Autoworks instead of the dealer.
Strange though, cuz I had opened it that morning.

Take a look on realoem, Bodywork => Hood, Bowden cable, front P/N 51237184603. There is a little box on the end of the cable.

Not sunburn.. I was blushing at all of the vulgarities. I did cool myself off with my tire sprayer, but got some up my nose in doing so.

I'm fine. I prob looked redder yesterday at the pub, but am tanned today. I did notice you undercover of your car though, with the A/C cranked and all windows closed for a while.

When I'm instructing, I'm doing lots of standing out there, except for 3 minutes of my next tutor victim.
