First Official M135i Video
Still not sure when it's coming to the US. Probably just the PPK on a 135i as well. |

Here's a question:
There's always been a big divide between people who put ///M badges on their cars and people who "disagree" with it... Do you think that once BMW put an ///M badge on the 135i it will be acceptable for us to do so? Not expressing my own opinion - just wondering what others think... |

That's exactly what I was wondering. Also, any idea if this will get true ///M parts? Like the LSD, etc?

Also, if the 3 series wagon (F30) is coming to the USA, why wouldn't this? How odd.
Any idea if this will be FWD or RWD? This car is growing on me, but I am still not a fan of the headlights. |

So it's not being sold in the US? If so then I wonder are BMW going to decide for each market whether they will continue with the E82/87 as being the bearer of the 135i badge or whether they will retire the E82/87 135i and replace it with this?
So whilst there may be a 2013 E82/87 135i, it will be available only where they have decided not to sell the new F20 M135i. I can't really see any other way. It would be very confusing for them to introduce this alongside the existing E82/87 135i. It won't make a 'splash' otherwise. |

I was going to post.... Anyone else remember 2-3 years ago when we would all pretty much laugh anybody who stuck an ///M badge on their car off the forums? I have seen ///M 135i pictures on here before. We were all in a fit over how it's diluting the ///M brand. Some people were even angry that there are M logos on the car at all. After all, it's not an M. I don't know where everyone stands nowadays, but seriously, people already confuse my car for an M and I have to correct them all the time. Pretty soon everything even moderately sporty from BMW will have random "///M"s everywhere. It's stupid. But yeah.. ///M 135i. Stupid name. Ugly car. I don't see anything in any press releases about it having an LSD either, so they're still probably keeping that "just" for the ///M cars, even though a 20K Scion can have one. Probably a fun as hell car, and I'd kill for a 1 hatchback in the US. But not that particular one. Give me a 1M hatchback that can tangle with an RS3. That's what I want. Not this ugly thing with a mangled ///M name. Hell, keep the ugliness. Make it a real M hatchback with more than new sheet metal and a PPK.
