Which make of tire did your 1er come with?

Well I was at the dealer today, checking up on my order ...etc and I always had the impression that BMW always used Bridgstone. So I was looking at a new E90 which had Perelli tires , so I thought this car will have a spare tire but it didn't so it I thought that means that those are RFTs. So I asked the salesman and he said the come in different makes goodyear , dunlops ...etc

So tell us which make do you have and how its performing.

USA 128i with sport pack 17" I got Pirelli Eufori@ Run Flats. they are ok as I recall (On snows now) When they go I'll probably go back to Bridgestone Potenzas. But that's just bcause I have brand loyalty, my last two sets of tires were Potenzas.

My U.S. 128i 'vert with SP came with surprisingly good Goodyear NCT5 17" (V-rated) summer tires. Comfortable ride, very good handling on both wet and dry pavement, little noise and reasonable treadwear so far.

Regardless, they're all run-flats, and will suffer from that (ride, noise, etc...) as they age... You can hugely improve your car when they're worn out and you replace with something better.

BMW sells a mobility kit (compressor + tire repair kit) which can be found cheaply at United BMW (forum sponsor) and you can get a spare tire through LeatherZ for the car as well.
