Trying to figure out if I need a shop to install does it bolt right up to 135 and does the stock exhaust get cut or altered in some way?

The PE come with the axle back and a resonator delete Y-pipe. You can bolt the axle back on without modification. If you want to install the Y-pipe (which most people think is a must) you need to cut the mid pipes just in front of the resonator.

The PE kit comes with a y-pipe which deletes the mid pipe resonator. So yes, IF you install that. you need to cut off the old resonator and use the supplied clamps.

extremely easy although if you install the y-pipe then say good bye to the clamps (you will need those to re-install your original setup provided you kept it) of which BMW charges $122 to replace. Cost would be as cheap as buying a couple garage ramps to pull your car up on while you slide under and un-bolt.
