I too went last year, and while somewhat entertaining, I was left feeling rather disappointed - for the reasons others have stated. To be fair, I think we all had very high expectations - but then, for the price of the tickets, I guess we're entitled. Without wishing to sound like a smarty-pants, the folks I was with and I all commented what a pity it was that the music was so loud when the "Ferraris" were going all out. It would have been great to hear them in full-voice, and indoors would have been sensational - if they were real. It was only in the following days that it came out that they were really camouflaged Toyotas (MR2's I think). That did kind of annoy me. |
