Registering Monday, What's it "Worth?"

So, finally got the title for a car I went to buy a few weeks ago. It was a private deal, and in my favor the seller did not include a price on the bill of sale...Here's all the details on the car...
'08 135i
BSM 45k Miles
Fully loaded with packages, coral red interior
Now...I know most additions don't really matter, because the DMV doesn't know about them...My question to you guys is, what should I put on the bill of sale? I can put a price for a stock 135i with nothing special right ? Let me know!

Garage List
2009 135i  [8.00]
Your supposed to put exactly what you paid for it. Doesn't matter what it's worth. Or if you want to do some fraud the seller would say it didn't run and sold it for 100 so you only pay tax on that.

They'll get you....

I said I paid 12k on a 09, private sale. Via mail I received a notification that my purchase price didn't align w/ market value. I had to send in my bill if sale, which luckily my seller left blank

DMV will not ask to see the bill of sale (atleast they didn't ask for mine). Bill of sale is more like a contract so if somewhere down the line the seller claims he's car was stolen I guess? (Correct me if I'm wrong) all I showed was my title, insurance and filled out an application. You can say you bought the car for 2k if you wanted to. Because the future value of the car is determined for paying price registered I listed mine a slightly higher than buying price only to help keep the value of the car up.

You can put whatever and the dmv won't say a thing... But the state can check and if the value is too far off market, they'll want proof. Happened to me only a few months back.

Not only that, i was told this could happen from someone that buys/sells a lot.

Yes, exactly, my point is that he left the bill of sale number blank. I was wondering what you guys thought fair value would be, that was more my question.

Well... You can put whatever since you'll technically have a receipt if they request it later on. I have an 09 128i w/ 50k miles (when purchased) and 12k flagged them... So
