Or you can spend $7 bucks and do it yourself. This pic is from RachelS's car and here's the link to that thread.

none of the older BMW's had a chrome grille,
I think it looks better black. People used to have to pay extra to get a M3 or sport pack to get the blacked out side trim like on a 325.

Camilo, just get it painted the same color as your car. What do you think of that?

I think svengali meant to black out the entire kidney grill area for a mean blacked-out look. I've seen this on E46's and when done right it looks great. But chrome looks good too depending on what look you're going for. I think the 6.99 option is worth a shot.. at worst you waste 7 bux if you don't like it but it looks pretty good in that pic!

Did you do it, if so how do you like it?

If you haven't done it do you have any more pricing information on getting this from the dealer?

LOL If it's so great not to have it why would they put it on the higher end 330i?

Anyway since it's such a great thing who wants to trade grills with me?

Not Expensive

I was interested in this as well. What Rachel did looks great and for that price why not.

Before I did that though, I had to check out how much the 330 grill costs and it's not too bad.

Here is the info from realoem.com

01 GRILLE LEFT CHROM 1 51137120009 $30.80
01 GRILLE RIGHT CHROM 1 51137120010 $30.80

You can have the OEM chrome for only 60 bucks, not too bad.
