vorsteiner carbon fiber hood 135
i was hoping to find someone local that wants to trade for there factory hood plus $200, preferably JET black to match my car. If not black i just want enough to cover painting the hood. It came with the car and is not particularly my style. anyway its in good shape other then a small crack in front of the emblem

My body guy just told me that black is hard to match so he wants to blend the fenders and it will cost $700 To do that? Seems high I'm going to shop around some more. I know this guy does good work but I think that's pretty high

Cost wise it seems reasonable even though if its paint match with code it might not be the same so painting the fender and bumpers sometimes helps blend with to help with hood. My guy charges around 400-500 for a hood repray so 700 is not bad for hood and fenders considering if its color sanded and polished. The best thing go to a paint shop that has a good reputation and will correct there work even if there is small flaw in the paint or have some type of warranty. You don't want to be left with a crappy paint job down the road and money out of your pocket having to do it again.

so the hood is still up for sale, i have been crazy busy, so just getting back to this now, i think i've decided that i would have no issues with trading this thing straight up for a black hood in good condition, because if i have to go through the process of painting another hood i would rather just paint this one. so let me know if anyone local is interested
