Howdy! Cross posting from the FB group since not everyone is on there :

Bear Mountain cruise & BBQ!

Time : 8am, rolling at 830am. Early to avoid traffic!

Address : Mobil station at 98 Roa Hook Rd Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567

Please PM for my cell or just post in this thread if you're coming and running behind, thanks!

Need volunteers for supplies! Will need the following :

Utensils and plates - all set
Drinks w/ice and cups
Condiments
Meats (or veg if you're vegetarian)
Paper towels or napkins
And chips or wherever else you'd like
I'll bring charcoal, BBQ tools, and package of Italian sausages.

On a side note, I've also updated the FB group privacy so it should now show up on searches again, let me know if it doesn't, thanks!

Yea traffic picks up pretty early, only way to beat it is to go this early, unless we want to plod along at 30-40mph the whole way

There's also a group going on E90 post that's going a little later, we'll prob cross paths with them along the way.

You're also more than welcome to come out later for the BBQ, I'll post up later the route we're running and BBQ spot.

Prob past noon at least, I'll be around for a while. We do have two options for BBQ location since I think majority of folks are coming from around the city, either do it at Tiorati Lake @ Harriman state park as planned, or shoot down the Palisades pkwy to the palisades park right under the GWB. Waiting on consensus for what everyone would prefer.

I couldn't find you on FB, try searching Tri-state 1addicts, the group should pop up in the results

Why do FDR state park in Yorktown heights?

FDR park would be a bit out of the way, the route ends in harriman park right near the palisades pkwy.

Yup, trying to shoot for doing it as a monthly thing. Not always Bear Mtn run either, sometimes it's bbq/food meet closer to the city, or karting at pole position or GPNY, along with gathering to hit shows/meets/etc.

Feel free to join the FB group, updates will typically pop up there.
