RI-D's are very cool, but very expensive. Price point is north of 8k. HRE's featured on BigLares VO 1M are stunning in person.

Ever heard the saying: if it isn't broken, don't fix it? The reason you're struggling is that the car already comes with very stylish, great-looking wheels.

I was about to ask what is wrong with the stock wheels. Maybe just a different shade like gun-metal and that's it for me. Till today I did not see better ones on 1M. Just my opinion.

HRE P43's are pretty awesome. I'd stay away from Morr...
I was a part of their original group buy on the VS7's and as soon as I bent 2 of them Carlos and morralloys disappeared and started pitching Alufelgen. I was told they'd work on getting me a pair of VS7 rear's and they were never heard from again. As soon as this production run goes dry, current owners who need replacements will get screwed as well.

Interesting...

Please PM me details of your experience... I am considering these wheels and would like to hear more before I make a final decision. TIA

Not much more to tell. I bought the VS7's, loved them, bent the rears, and tried to buy new ones to replace. At that time Carlos (owner of Morris and Alufelgen) was rolling out the VS8.1 and when I tried to buy two new rear VS7's I was told they weren't available. Soon thereafter he went silent as he launched a new brand and buried my request. He relaunched Morr with the VS8.2 but didn't care about past customers enough to get back to me.

I think the VS_ series look great, and were relatively lightweight. If you plan on driving your car I would buy 2 sets, as you may not be able to get a replacement 6 months later (or ever). I have 4 beautiful wheels in my basement that cost me $2k at group buy price and are now nothing more than paper weights because the company doesn't exist unless a new product is being released in place of previous ones. Your money is better spent on a company with some inventory/longevity.

I experienced the same dilemma until I found these:

I ordered them today - I like that the OE center caps fit to retain a somewhat OEM look. I love love love the stock wheels, but wanted something wider and lighter. I'll post up some pics when I get 'em mounted.. in the spring.

There's nothing wrong per se.
But the stocks are cast, so there is plenty of room for improvement.

Ditto, it's hard to top the wheels that come with it. However, I do wish they were a little darker so I am considering spraying them gunmetal...but like you, I can't find anything that looks really much better.

Here are some wheels to consider . We tried them all on 1M and it's hard to pick one set over another as they all look so good

Volk TE37SL

HRE P40s

HRE R40

BBS GT4

I think these 20's would look beautiful... Breyton GTSR-M. The rear concave design is fantastic. however might look better with a BMW center cap
