Clutches

Hi I'm from the uk.
My fiends 135i n54 clutch is starting to slip.

It's tuned at little 420bhp

I've suggested a spec stage 2 or stage 2+

Am I right in thinking these can be used with a standard dmf?

What other options has he got?

He doesn't really want a heavy pedal

Many thanks

The OEM F10 550i clutch can be put in the n54 135i transmission and can hold a bunch more torque while keeping a mostly stock pedal feel.

Edit: I think this clutch is supposed to be able to hold between 500-600 ft lbs of torque. BMW doesn't release exact specs on their clutches from what I've read.

Has anyone fitted one of these? I presume you use a standard dmf?

Priced a 550i clutch and 135i flywheel comes in at £635 so looks like we'll go down that route

Cheers lads
