I lol'ed pretty hard. But it's true, N54s sound like ass if opened up too much.. You get that buzzy weird sound at low rpms when you let off throttle. Sounds like a 67' beetle

What about all the people running a berk race with catless downpipes? This would basically be the same thing.

I took it to a guy who works at a hot rod shop down here in salt lake but has a ton of exhaust experience. Only cost me 100 bucks.

Yeah so you cut it where it goes around the bend by the subframe/suspension then make some piping up that will work.

Or you could have a shop cut out the resonator and secondary cats and weld in straight pipes, I'm thinking about going that route after downpipes

Berk Race midd pipes do have some kind of secondary cats

Sounds good to me! I'm sure very similar to my setup with Berk Delete. I have been torn between either gutting the resonator with a Y-Pipe or getting a set n55 mids to delete cats.

Why not just cut out mid cats and gut the little resonator.

Are you talking about the y pipe? I still have kittyless downpipes and muffler delete but I think I'm going to cut out the two mid cats and resonator next, I really like the raspy sound of these straight 6's
