D90 featuring the 135i
I just happened to stumble across this video of someone testing out the D90 and he just happens to own a 135i. Lets see if someone can contact him and have him also be a 1addict

Chase Jarvis just happens to own a 1er, but he's a pro photographer and was given a D90 a month before they were released, the lucky devil.
That video was definitely made for Nikon's benefit. Still though, the D90 allowing for HD vid is pretty cool... I have some nice Nikkor glass, and am looking forward to getting a D90 too! |

I sooo need that camera. Actually, it would probably be a good time to be picking up a D80 for a good deal now. I just found a D300 for $900 though.

D90 kit is about 1k (estimation at this point). buydig.com I got a good deal on my D300. I would really try to get Nikon's/Sony's new sensor. CNET.com provides nice reviews on cameras as well.

Oh sweet, I wish I could be in your place, I'd love to have the D3 and the 135i in that combo. I would look at your site but my comp sucks at work and can't view it. But I will say though, your site is fantastic lol.

Don't know if it's a scam or not, but I found it on two sites for body only. D90 on the same site is $979 body only. D300 body is $929.
On the D89, I really like the HD movie function on the DSLR. For family stuff, I like having the movie function on my camera because carrying a movie camera and a separate still camera, especially if it's a DSLR, isn't going to happen. I'm sure that this will be a feature soon to be added by the competition. Since 1280x720 would be printable for 4x6 (right?), I'm thinking you could capture some things at 24fps that would otherwise be very difficult. I'm quite intrigued at some possibilities. On a 1 series note, didn't I see a picture of somebody taking pictures of the 135? Too bad they didn't put any of those as the samples, but I guess that would have been seen as product placement. Would have been great for BMW to pay to put the car in the Nikon ad. Isn't a convertible a bit impractical for a photographer? :iono: |
