Typically the sense of motion is gained from the blurred background while the subject of the picture is sharp. But if the picture turned out the way you wanted then :thumbup:

^^ i totally agree with that, and that can have a great affect with an appropriate background. but i sometimes find that despite the background being blurred they still somehow look stagnant to me? maybe it is just me lol i find that making one part tack sharp and the other end a bit blurred just seems to make it a bit more lively...
