What performance advantage does the calipers alone have over the stock 6 piston calipers? I have the drilled & slotted rotors with the stock 6 pistons. BMW just replaced mine do to being worn and the rotors being "rounded" from wear. The parts brand new are roughly 500 for brand new pair of drilled and slotted rotors. I am interested in getting them as a spare set if the calipers actually have a benefit over the stock ones...

Gotcha... thanks, but no thanks OP. Like I said, the rotors are 500 for the pair in the box new. not sure what the calipers go for new but every car pretty much has the same 6 piston ones and I see no benefit. There would be a benefit I could see if it fits a 128 and someone is looking to upgrade theirs. Not trying to bash your thread, I was genuinely interested if the calipers performed better... GLWS either way.

The BMW Performance calipers have better pistons... They don't fall apart like the stock 135i calipers do.

But I am not expert I just remember reading this.

And yes you are right they do fit the 128i... I took them off my 128i
