I know its not 1er related but I finally dynoed my Dinan s3-r while at the track yesterday. We also did a dyno on a stock 2013 e92 m3 immediately afterwards to act as a baseline. Both cars on 91 octane.

I still have plans to bring the S3-R to Mike Benvo at BPM to protune it.

Dinan S3-R
- Dinan Stroke Tune
- Dinan 4.6L Stroker
- Dinan Intake
- Dinan Throttle Boddies
- Dinan Pully
- Dinan Race X pipe
- Dinan Axelback

Also, I'm curious what your take is on the handling between both your cars -- being that they essentially have the same suspension and all.

They are two very different cars.

The 1 series is FBO 4.0L S65, 3250lbs, hardmounted, has Ohlin Clubsports, fixed heim jointed rear arms, cage and seats.

The m3 is has a FBO 4.6L, ~3650lbs, Dinan S3 EDC suspension ( very mild)

I think if I took some weight out of the m3, put coilovers in, cage, seats and bushings it would be disgustingly quick.

I looked into V10 but passed because they are too heavy. V10 would compromise the balance of the vehicle. Would be fun for a hooning car but that wasnt my intention with this build.

Didn't know they were that much heavier. Are you planing to use the Raze GT on the clone or an entirely new build?

Just watched that video... Had a good laugh @ 2500 gallons burned..

I gotta say, people say the 1er is an ugly car but when watching this.. Man I love the look of the E82. Such a compact car but it has the looks of a proper euro coupe.

You allready know I love your car, this video really tops the project off. I would be a bit sad if you'd sell it.

I'm still waiting on my kit. They have most of it made already. I think the trunk and wing are still being built. I originally thought they wouldn't have the raze GT specific wing but it turns out it is going into production. Although I don't have the kit or car yet I am in the planning phase and locking everything else in.
