Getting clear bra install next week
I will have Jeremy from invisiguard in Bayarea to install clear bra on my 330i next Tuesday. He quoted me $480 for the kits and installation. I will post the update next week.

Hey Steve, can you tell that this car has the clear bra? I hope yours will look the same!

Um...looks like it has it or not... Maybe that's just the reflection of light on the hood. But, basically, you won't notice the clear bra on the bumper..the only thing you will notice is the edge of the bra, which i think will be less obvious on black car than than my white car before.

That's the edge of the bra. I like it! I will get one too after I get my car!

I have it on this car and it is absolutely indispensable! It covers about 40% of the body panels and the lines are barely perceptible:

For those with experience, after getting the clear protective covering, do you find cleaning and maintaining a clean appearance easier? Can you just wash with soap and water? Do you need to dry with a towel so as not to leave water spots? Also, do you usually apply a wax or polish on top of the platic, or is it not necessary? Thanks.

You treat the cover like the rest of your car. Polish, waz, etc...

As far as care goes, wash and wax as usual, BUT: no high pressure water <36" away, no picking at the edges, and wax (non-abrasive) often to keep dirt away from the edges.
Bugs come off more easily than from painted surfaces. The downside is that paste wax will leave a white outline when it dries. It requires gentle removal! |

Black is the hardest color if you want to get the clear bra....its shows the most.

I have been leaning hard in the direction of getting the clear bra, but i'm terrified of it turning yellow over time. Is their any UV protection built into these things or not? Here in Chicago some kind of protection is a must, since our expressways are in a state of permanent reconstruction. My 330i on order is titanium silver so any yellowing would really show.

I've had it on my TiAg 323Ci for two years now and it still looks great. No yellowing that I can see. |

Most of the clear bra offer a lifetime warranty against turning yellow

Jeremy (Invisiguard@sbcglobal.net) also did 3 cars for me. Absolutely amazing craftmanship. He evens came by a week later to check his installs and remove the tiniest bubbles and imperfections. Now, that makes him a perfectionist.

Ive been on the fence about getting this for mine, but seeing the pic makes the decision all that much easier... Just have to decide if I want all three (fog, Bumper and Hood Clear Bra)
