Simon I am still not convinced with your pictures.. you are in the shade of your garage.. and its looks like a gloomy day in your pictures.. my RDs are the same in that situation.. we need sunny day pictures in the direct sunlight..
Not trying to be an ass here but I like many we've tried a few options and this money isn't paying off.. I will wait for better pictures.. |

Like the "DIRECT SUNLIGHT!!" vendor pics which are under obvious overcastin the late afternoon? I'm anxious for some good quality pics. Once I see those, plus a DIY, I'm buying these

R&D Brex Dtec Mtec Gp Thunders and now the HIDs I can take as many pics as possible and from certain angels I can make any of the above AE look good. However, seeing these in person, I am very impress. My last purchase was for Brex and they aren't cheap. In my post, I specifically stated that it was white but not bright. I have no problem ripping a product. I can assure you that these are bright.... VERY BRIGHT... I am going to wash my car right now, and take pics in a few... Try to park in direct sunlight... |

For everyone that is questioning my pics... I am NOT affiliated with Camaross. I am just reviewing the HIDs as I see them. I don't make any $ for a sale, so whether one person buys it or 100 people buys it, I still make $0. LOL. However, I have no problem supporting what I believe to be a EXCELLENT product SO FAR...

I ran into some issues as well. Basically my installer said there is a more efficient way to use the bulbs than with the wiring harness provided. Will update when I find out more.

[QUOTE=camaross305;6395308]Tust me the y are super bright! lol
Hmm so you are basically saying.. trust you as in if they are not what you say they are I get my money back type of trust, oh including shipping? (brightness and no codes.. etc..) If a vendor stands that highly behind their product I think you will get massive volume of purchases.. There just have been multiple claims from vendors and equally amounts of disappointments.. If you post guranteed satisfactory or money back guranteed.. I will place my order right away. |

^^ got your pm.. and these pics are better.. my expectations is to hvae them as bright as the oem when in the day light.. like any DRL lights... I am in Canada and it is illegal to not have them visible so my RDs are pretty borderline.. I will wait a week like you said and see if you have codes.. thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the DIY!
What is the lead time on these? After reading your experience it seems that the time is mostly spent routing all that wiring (I hate this because I am not a patient person!). But they look great and the install does not seem that bad, just time consuming. |

The connection for the resistors are extremely fragile. It was separated multiple times but I was able to connect it back. Since its screwed on the wires. The h8 is also very difficult. You HAVE to trim to make it fit. Ask Camaross to send the ones with the plastic prongs instead of the metal prongs. Metal prongs CANNOT be trimmed. The plastic prongs can. I will also post some pictures later on what I trimmed and how it fits. I think if I had to redo this again, it would take 1 hour (depending on how long it takes for me to close the damn lid for the passenger side. |

Simon, you finally have bright DRL's! Would you say your pictures are an accurate representation of the even-ness of the light distribution in reality? In these pics, the inner rings appear substantially brighter than the outer rings - more so than stock. |

Pictures are accurate as accurate can get... I wont get the Nikon DLSR D3000 until one week from now. I can take DAMN good pics then. But the inner rings are BY FAR much brighter than outter ring. I guess that has to be the case for the outter ring to be lit. Like I said earlier, the outter ring is lit. Last edited by Simon_135i; 12-21-2009 at 04:18 PM.. |

Thanks for the vid, they do look brighter than anything else out there and I think that the issue with the rings lighting unevenly is just something us 1 owners are going to have to deal with, the design of the rings will not allow it.
One thing I couldn't tell from the vid, how quickly do these light up when they first come on? Do they flicker at all? Or is it similar to the stock, slow fade to fully on? I also heard the wonderful "crazy door lock" happen in the video, hate when that happens. Also at the end of the movie, why is only one headlight lit up? |

For those that are still worried about the brightness in the daylight - although I don't know why you would with these - you can opt for 6000K bulbs. They have a higher output and are more visible in daylight.
