ST coilovers... I think I got jipped
I bought a set used. They're fully installed, the fronts seem stiff based on my pressing down on the fender. The rears however can be moved over an inch by sitting on the rear bumper or pressing down. Is that normal? I weight 175lbs...

I'm unsure of the spring rates, but the rears are entirely too soft. I have ST's as well, and at times I feel the rear is so soft it's almost unsafe. I'm looking into changing the springs out for some Swift units, but I don't think anyone's done it before. Think I may be better off just getting some TCK's

Just to revive this. Probably going to remove these. Got an alignment. No fix. Raised them in the rear
back to stock height. Still rubbing on medium dips. At this point the rates are literally softer than stock. Front is stiff as hell. I can literally bounce on rear and make the fenders hit the tires. How much play do you guys have on yours? |
