Hello all,

My 135 Alpine White w/ Coral Red Leather 'vert is being built!!! I'm out of my mind excited. Should be ready by September 15th. Thanks to every one of you 1addicts. It's nice be able communicate with other people who "share the obsession"!!

Exciting stuff, there are a couple of us on the site who are in or just finished production. Our 1'ers may be taking a boat trip together!!

I like your signature. I have model year 2002 330ci Convertible currently. My new 1 series vert will be only 2 inches shorter in length, have navigation which I currently don't have, possess 300hp as opposed to 225hp, get very similar mpg, and cost about the same new!!

My 128i convertible just finished production today too, at least according to the 800 number. Anyone have an idea of how long shipment will take?

I found out today that my car was released from the plant and is being transported to the port!!!

My guess is that I will receive the car in about 4 weeks once the car is on the boat and heading to the East Coast of the USA.

That is sweet. We will have almost exactly the same car!! I will have the grey poplar trim and no CA.

Silver with Terra/Black with Burl Walnut trim.

Not so fast Morgie2, Our 1er is just hanging out at the port. Who knows when it will be loaded so there is still a chance that you'll be making the trip with us if your 1er is scheduled to be done on Monday.

Have you called the 1-800 # to check on the status? Our car was produced 3 days ahead of schedule :smile:

Just checked it, still in production with a completion date of Monday. (9/15/08).
