Guys... post a picture so we know "which" brake light warning you mean? Seems odd that one could cause the light to come on by playing with the BC. ?

It could be something as simple as a blown out brake light(bulb). Have you guys checked your brake lights?

This one.
Warranty ended two months ago.
My rear pads are low, BT tool condition based service says I have 0% left in rear. Sure enough, visual confirms that I have about 1/4" of pad life left. Unsure if this means the wear sensor is used, or this was a calculated wear condition.
Resetting or entering a new value seems not to work, but JB4 may be interfering.

I also have occasional light bulb indicator occurring where you see the service lift icon in my pic. Casual inspection of all of the exterior lights on the car does not reveal a fault. I don't think these codes are related, as the brake light occurred about a month from the intermittent light bulb indicator.

..... I also have a seat occupancy sensor fault in my passenger side

EDIT: Upon further reading, this light appears to be due to the wear sensor. Sensor must be replaced during pad/rotor replacement.

The picture of the car up in the air means your car is due for its two year inspection NOT your brakes. The brake pad icon is a circle with parentheses around it "(O)" .

The reason why the brake light is on is probably bc your hand brake is up/on.

I would follow my DIY for resetting the service lights... scroll over to this car up on a lift icon... and reset it with the BC button.

DIY resetting service "due" lights…
